I am so excited!!
Why?
Because today I get to (finally) post the Child Training Bible Giveaway!!!
It was delayed so many times due to sicknesses and then this hurricane Isaac. The main reason for this taking so long was the fact that my camera broke, and I wanted to take some awesome pictures for you guys... but this will have to do for now. I can't wait any longer.
For those of you who have been eying this little golden nugget... you now have a chance to win it at absolutely no cost to yourself! Mindy, the creator of The Child Training Bible, has offered to send one of my blessed readers The Child Training Bible... because that's how awesome she is!
For those of you who have not had the privilege of hearing about this wonderful tool as of yet, let me fill you in...
The Child Training Bible is used to teach your children scripture verses that correspond to issues they might be facing. I love that you can put your Child Training Bible together using the bible translation of your choice. I created mine with the NIV translation because it's easier for my children to understand.
This God sent mom and dad of four adorable children sat down and through prayers, determination, and with dedication they put together this Child Training Bible. I think they could probably explain their product better than I can... so I will again put up their video explanation for your viewing pleasure!
Watched it? Good!
You can find more information on this product, and the beautiful family, at the ChildTrainingBible website.
I have used the Child Training Bible with my own children countless times since I was blessed with it.
My son is the only boy of our four children... so to entertain himself, he often times enjoys the game "Let's see how fast I can annoy one of my sisters by picking on them". Whenever he gets in the mood for this game I sit down and have him write the scriptures that correspond with Quarreling or Disobedience if I've instructed him to quite and he did not.
My oldest daughter benefited greatly from reading the scriptures listed in the Wrong Friendships tab. It helped her make a confident decision about a friendship she had been struggling with letting go.
My husband once commented that our children would know these scriptures by heart by the time they left our home... in which I responded "That's the point".
Two sisters who attend the Teen Girls Ministry class I teach told me they didn't have a bible in their home. I was teaching them the importance of reading their bible daily when they told me this. I went to the nearest store and picked up a pretty pink (niv) bible and tabbed their bible with the following topics.
- Purity
- Modesty
- Obedience
- Wrong Friendships
- Discouragement
- The Gospel
What are you waiting for?! Enter to win one for yourself!

Using it with my girls!
I started homeschool this year and would use this as a teaching tool...and for scripture memorization! Thanks.
Oh! I would be so blessed to have this tool to use with my three blessings! We have dinner time devotions and this would be an awesome tool to use for scripture memory with them.
It would also be good to have this to use in times of discipline and re-direction with the kids as my husband and I try to show them in Scripture where heart change needs to come.
Thank you for this opportunity!
Great idea using it for Teens too!
At the moment my husband and I will use the CTB for ourselves to prepare for when we have little ones!
I think this would be an awesome resource to use in teaching my 2 children what God expects of them (and me) in our journey as a family.
I would use it with my son!
I am the nursery director at my church, and I would love to use this not only in my home but for our church family kids as well!
I would use it with my girls.
This would be a great tool not only for my boys, but also for us as a family. I can't tell you how many times I know there has to be a verse - somewhere - but clueless as to where that verse is located about a specific topic.
Would love this for our kiddos!!
I have been praying about purchasing the child training bible and I feel it's time.
I want to train up our son the ways of the Lord but it is hard to know exactly what scripture applies in the heat of the moment. Also my husband will benefit from this because he is young in his faith and this will help him easily find applicable scriptures.
I would give this bible to my daughter to use with her 4 children and their daily devotions.
If we won the Child Training Bible, we would use it during homeschooling as well as family devotions. My husband and I recently made a commitment to focus more on training our children and teaching character virtues and this would be a major blessing.
I would use this with my 2 daughters. I also think that it would also help me as I teach them.
My son just turned 2 and I think this would help me just as much as him :)
We would use this to further our Bible application with our 6 children.
I have this and use it with my daughter. It's AWESOME!!!! Someone will really appreciate this with their kids!!

One friend with young children has already started using this training Bible and I would like to give this copy to another dear friend with 3 little ones. My husband and I will be teaching a Godly parenting class this winter and I will definitely talk about THIS!
Hi! Found you through Women Living Well! I'm your newest follower and look forward to connecting with you! I'm also entering the giveaway! I'd use it with my little girl as she grows in her love and knowledge of the Lord.

Wow! What an incredible resource! I always loved my concordance, but for young kids, that can be so bulky! This is AWESOME and whether I win or not, I'm checking this out for my kids!!!
